Guys hwag kaung pumunta kapag may tumawag sa inyo na nanalo kayo ng worth 25k insurance sa philplans kasi scam ito..may tumawag sa akin na taga PHILPLAN FIRST, INC. at sinasabing nanalo ako ng 25k life insurance at sasabihin sa inyo na free yun talaga at wala kaung babayaran, nung una hndi ako pumunta hangang lagi silang tumatawag sa akin..kaya nagpunta ako sa office nila sa cubao, Sa PHILAM LIFE CUBAO, nilapitan ako ng agent nila din yun at explain sa akin kung anu ung mga makukuha at benefits ng insurance nila, nung kukunin ko na yung free ko na 25k insurance hndi binigay, humingi sya ng 2 valid ID's ko at yung credit card ko, so sabi ko bakit kailngan mo yung credit card ko sabi ng agent nila for confirmation lng daw..so binigay ko at nung pagbalik nya binigyan ako ng mga documents na nakalagay dun na worth ng babayaran ko sa bank.so sabi ko cancel na natin yung transactions, sabi nya hndi pwede kasi naswipe nayung card ko..sabi ko sa agent ng PHILPLANS wala kang authorize na magswipe ng card ko..so yun nga pinapacancel ko yung transactions at hinihingi ko yung credit card ko kaso ayaw ibigay.kailangan muna daw pirmahan yung docs nila, so lumipas ang 1hr hndi pa rin nila binigay..so wala akong choice kundi pirmahan ung docs at para makauwu na ako ..kaya sa inyo to guys hwag na hwag nyong ipagkatiwala ang credit card nyo kahit kanino.
Sa mga AGENT NG PHILPLANS pare-parehas lng tayong mahirap at nagtratrabaho para kumita ng pera pra may pantostos tau sa mga pamilya natin..bakit ganito pa ang ginagawa nyo wla ba kayong awa sa mga nabibiktima nyo?Isusubong kanin na lng sa bibig kinukuha nyo pa..Sana namn makonsenya kayo, kung gusto nyong kumikita ng pera magtrabaho kayo ng patas hwag yang nanloloko kayo ng mga tao..

23 July 2018 around 320 pm, nasa school ako due to paperworks needed to accomplish.
Biglang may tumawag na new number informing that I am one of the lucky benaficiaries of FREE ACCIDENT INSURANCE from PHILPLANS formerly PHILAMS daw ito.
I asked the caller on how they got my info and how am I being selected yet I never did apply to them. She said that "maybe" one of their representatives or stakeholders recommended me. I wasnt even convinced to her explanation and I dont know, not even a single person from their company. She added that "maybe" one of their agents got my info from their affiliated banks.
I told her that I can sue them due to PRIVACY LAW. However she rebutted and guarantee me that its a legit company so I should not worry.
She is very insistent and wants me to receive the said certificate since its good for a week to claim, else it will be forfeited. According to her I will not pay anything since its free, as long as I can present 2 valid gov't IDs plus credit card or any bank account for verfication. She texted me some info.
This afternoon, I received another phone call for follow up. I told her that I will not go since I am not interested about it even its free. The caller seems so upset why I will not attend the said appointment. She even asked me if the previous caller wasnt able to explain clearly. I told her I dont need any explanation since I am not convince about them and I am avoiding any scam or fraudelent activity. Since I am determine to decline their offer she then hung up the call.
**Interesting to note:
1. Banks will not provide personal details to third party entities.
2. My appointment is at 8am yet Ali Mall opens at 9am.
3. Callers cant provide personnel's name who recommended me as beneficiary.
4. Why am I being obliged to present my credit card or any bank forms?
5. I have read several reviews, posts and blogs via google that indeed this is a scam.

Interesado ako pero wag ngayon at walang-wala ako. Kinukuha ko card ko aba nagulat ako sinwipe na nga! At ayun nalaman nila na di na nga pwede.. So ayun smile na nga lang daw, binigay sa akin yung certificate at irerenew na lang the following year yung free insurance..
E supplementary holder ako ng asawa ko, nagalit pag-uwi ko at nagtext daw ang bank dahil may denied transaction nga raw.. Buti na lang talaga maxed-out siya..
Today, bumalik ako kasi tinawagan ako na pwede ko na claim yung renewal ng free insurance. Ayun, sinabihan ko agad na baka naman iswipe nila ulit credit card ko, na irereport ko sana sila the last time pero di ko na nagawa.. Sabi nila di raw at di nila ipipilit kung wala talaga, basta yung alok nilang free insurance that's it, kung mag-avail man ako ng any plan nila edi mas mabuti..
So ngayon meron uli ako 1 year free accidental death and dismembership insurance. At mas ok yung agent na hunarap sa akin ngayon.

Akala ko pde ibalik ung pera kung nde ko na kaya pero unfortunatey based sa contract, hindi pala. I was wondering sir troy if you could help us on this. hi troy... i wish i read your blog earlier, as this same f****n thing just happened to us today. my husband was one of the few chosen daw, that he is only supposed to list his beneficiaries. when I asked if we can have some time to think about it first as there are other companies who presented similar plans, we were told it was a one time offer. we haven't heard of any of their policies or plans. only to find out later you can avail of this anytime you want. they won't let us leave without signing up. they said they will just check with the bank, when the girl returned there was already receipt for the payment. they even took the opportunity to rush my husband in signing the papers without even reading the documents since we were in a hurry as we received word that my just lola passed away. the only consolation we have is my husband's credit card is almost to its limit and we were charged a minimal amount, but still, that's something we need to pay with my husband's hard earned money. it may not be a scam in its real sense, but people should not be forced into signing up for such. it should be freely entered into. this scheme is pure deceit. to those who have plans, and are enjoying it, good for you. but i do not think this is how you have availed of the plan. you guys ought to understand the sentiments of those, like troy and us, that we were forced into this and was taken advantage of. true, we tend to be gullible especially during these hard times. but companies, so much so with companies like philplans, should not take advantage of people's vulnerabilities. lesson learned...

Burahinhi Sol, na biktima rin ako today nyang Philplans na yan, pirma dito pirma dun madalian eh di ko na nabasa ang content nito tapos all of the sudden sabi nila for verification lang daw yung credit card ko kasi kulang daw ako ng gov't. ID. ayon pagbalik may charge slip na. Sinulatan ko agad-agad thru email ang service@bankard.com kasi iyon ang card ko tapos just explain what happened. 3 days processing and pagdispute. I will wait na lang ang feedback ng RCBC Bankard ko.

Thank your for this information. Me and my office mate was called by one of their agents and I had plans on picking up the free insurance certificate this Saturday. However, when i received a text indicating that they are requiring me to bring my credit card for "verification" daw, nagduda ako, besides too good to be true din ang offer nila, so I decided to some research. Buti nalang kung di sayang ang time and money! :-)

taz humingi sila ng valid id sbi ko school id lng po taz nag asked sila kung meron akong bank account or credit card tas sbi ko wala po atm lng meron po..then sbi nila d po pwde then told her na tawag sila may kung dito na daddy ko..
then i texted my father, brother, aunt and uncle wala daw sila finill up-an na form...
pero until now di sila tumawag then nabasa ko to. buti di ko hiningi credit card ng daddy ko..

Diba for raffle ito? Nagduda na ako kaya di ko ibinigay, i raffle nyo na lang sabi ko. Di ko dala credit card ko sabi ko na lang. then left them. And yesterday may tumatawag unknown number, hanggang today, di lang isang beses kada tawag 2x or more, kaya sinagot ko na tawag today, baka kilala ko di lang naka save number, so sinagot ko then di ako nagsasalita, hinintay ko sya mag salita, hanngang binabaan nya ko, then nagtxt na lang sya na isa daw ako sa nabunot. BurahinGot same story dito naman sa Baguio.. they'll call to say na my free insurance kang matatanggap taz di ako pumunta pero tumawag ulit like three times the next day.. makulit.. my free insurance nga daw ako e pano yan, i didn't sign up naman for anything? nakuha daw from refferal sa mga banks, plan holders etc.. taz when i got to their office, they asked for 2 ID's for verification daw taz they asked for my Credit card while kwento kwwento.. ixexerox lang daw yung mga id's and card.. when i was about to leave their office, i remebered why did i give them my card e baka they'll use it to buy online kasi they got a photocopy of my card and the numbers at the back so i went back taz sabi e front lang daw kinopya.. hanapin ko daw sila pag my lumabas sa bill.. though i think i didn't sign a receipt when it was swiped.. so takot ko e i went to my bank to have my card changed.. as per the bank e wala pa namang charges other than the one i had.. i just hope wala talaga and na hindi nila ginamit to buy insurance thru my credit card.. ewan ko lang kung late nilang ipopost.. pano kaya yun???

In all fairness sa mga nakaranas ng bad experience from irresponsible people, may karapatan naman talaga kayo mag ingay lalo na kung nadehado kayo pero ang mas higit kong ikinalulungkot ay nakakaladkad ang pangalan ng isang Insurance Company na sa tingin ko ay very true to their promises. Why? kasi po since 1992, lahat po ng aking tatlong anak ay ikinuha ko ng Educ Plans at ngayon dalawa na sa mga college kong anak ay tumatanggap na ng benepisyo every semester. malapit nang matapos ang panganay namin at hanggang ngayon ay up to date ang dating ng Educ Plan Checks nila. Dagdag pa dyan ang Pension Plan naming mag asawa na nag mature na rin,2 years ago ay natanggap na namin ang Maturity Benefit. At ngayon naman ay bumili uli kami ng dagdag na insurance para tuloy tuloy lamang ang aming protection. Napakalaki po ng tiwala ko sa Insurance Company na ito kaya ako po'y nalulungkot na may mga sira ulong tao na gumagawa ng mga ganitong bagay. Naniniwala ako na hindi kailanman papayagan ng Philplans ang mga ganitong klase ng pagbebenta ng plans- that is very unfair talaga.

Nasasabi ko rin po ang lahat ng ito dahil ako po mismo ay isang legitimate Philplans Counselor mula pa noong 1994. At una sa lahat ang Values Formation sa pagpasok bilang agent sa Insurance Company na ito.
Sa totoo lang po, ngayon ko lang napag alaman na mayroon palang ganitong cases na diumano ay involved ang Philplans. Maganda rin na maitanong ko ito sa aming agency upang magsilbing warning para sa lahat ng Counselors. Para sa akin hindi ito ang tamang paraan upang makabenta ng Insurance Plan. Ang mga gumagawa ng ganitong pamamaraan ay hindi pinapayagan ng kumpanya. Ang sales strategy na ganito ay sariling pamamaraan ng kung sinumang mga agents na yan.
Kaya po kung may gumagawa ng mga kaduda dudang bagay na ganyan ay mangyari lamang ipagbigay alam po ninyo agad sa kinauukulan ng Philplans upang ito'y kanilang agad na ma-verify. Huwag po kayong maniniwala agad-agad sa mga tumatawag sa inyo. Mangyaring alamin po muna ninyo ang kanilang buong pangalan at contact number at ito'y i verify nyo muna sa Philplans Office. Sa mga gustong kumuha ng Insurance Plan kahit na sa ibang kumpanya man, magandang bisitahin nyo ang kanilang mga websites upang higit na pag aralan ang mga products na inaalok ng bawat isa. Magtanong or tumawag kayo sa kanilang office upang masagot ang inyong mga katanungan. Kailangan pong pag aralan nyong mabuti bago kayo mag desisyon. Wag padadala sa matatamis na pangako ng mga mapagsamantalang agesnts. Kung sa telepono lamang po kayo aalukan ay wala na po kayong panahon para mag isip kaya kadalasan di nyo namamalayan ay napabili na pala kayo agad at nai-charge na agad sa inyong credit cards.

Sa pagpili po ng Insurance Company ay inyo lamang ipagtanong ang track record nito at kung very stable ba ang kumpanyang inyong napili. Alamin kung gaano kalaki ang Trust Fund nila.
Sa aking personal experience bilang Insurance believer (22 years ago pa), malaking bagay ang naitutulong nito para sa aking pamilya dahil meron itong Return of Investment (ROI) na ang ibig sabihin ay parang naibalik ang inyong naibayad. Kung ang pera mo ay itatago mo lamang sa banko mas malaki ang chance na ito ay mai-withdraw lamang ng paunti unti hanggang sa maubos. At dahil mataas ang inflation rate natin ang iyong P100K ay maliit na halaga na lamang pagkalipas ng 10 to 20 years. Samantalang kung ikaw ang magiinvest sa insurance, may savings ka na, insured ka pa at talagang pagsisikapan mong matapos ang pagbabayad nito dahil gusto mong paghandaan ang iyong future. Isipin nyo lang na habang kayo ay nagbabayad ay hindi kayo nagbabayad ng utang kundi kayo ay nag-iimpok (which is true).
Isipin po natin mahalaga ang Insurance sa ating pamilya dahil "Hindi lahat ng araw ay Pasko". Darating ang panahon sa ating buhay na tayo'y biglang mangangailangan at dito po pumapasok ang importance ng isang Insurance.
Sana po ay nakapagbigay ako ng kaunting kaalaman sa mga nais mag invest sa Insurance.

NaPR talaga ako dahil sabi nya pangquota nya lang daw, tinanong kung OFW ako. Then tinignan nya yung SSS id ko, then tinanong yung card ko sa abroad. Nakita nya lang yung bank name ko then if Visa or Master, sabi ko hindi ko na ipapahawak sa kanya yung card ko. (mahirap na) may chineck check lang sya sa ticket. Then binigay saken yung stub, yun lang naman. Napaparanoid lang ako dahil syempre details ko din yung binigay ko at napagalitan pa ako ng family members ko dahil warned na din ako sa mga ganyang scams. Kaya napasearch din ako about this company. Na-lost talaga ako. In case na tatawag sila thank you for the warning through this blog post. Delikado na ba yun na nagbigay na ako ng details ko and then nasilip nya yung ID at card ko???

March 9, 2013 - Saturday
Someone called me and introduced her name as Ms. Venus Ayala from PhilPlans Makati Branch. She said that I was entitled for a FREE P25,000 Insurance. She gave me a policy number and was instructed to meet the Branch Manager Mr. Eldwin Munoz on Monday, March 11, 2013 at their office which is located at 5th Floor E.S Clemente Building (COrner Otek St. Corner Lake Drive. Burhnham Park Baguio City). I asked how she got my number and why from all the millions of Pinoy was I chosen for this privilege. She answered cheerfully that it me being a loyal BDO credit card holder and that it was their way of "helping".
March 11, 2013 - Monday
So I went to their office, brought valid ID's and even my cheque book "for verification purposes". I looked for Mr. Eldwin but I was directed to an agent or another "manager", didn't quite get his whole name but I remember he introduced himself as "Prince". He gave an intro about the "FREE" insurance, the benefits and all. (I already know part of these stuff since I attended AXA Life workshops) But I kept listening. I was still waiting to claim for the free 25k insurance, and we have been chatting for about 1hr 1/2 already. Then BOOM... a "ONE-TIME" offer was presented to me.
***I was actually looking forward about the offer since nothing really comes for FREE***
But what got me furious was when I told him that I need to talk about getting the policy to my wife, his reply was really insulting "sir, ano pang kelangan i-discuss sa wife mo?". I was offended and really furious I want to punch him in the face but I kept my cool. I calmly told him that I was no longer comfortable with the discussion and I felt like I was being forced into signing a policy for them. He was already asking for my credit card for "bank verification" but I was really skeptical and I never gave my credit card (I was carrying 3, CITI, BDO and Metrobank) He kept on asking for it and assuring me that I will only be charged after 45days! (150 php per day, thats 4,500 a month, which is P54,000 a year!)
I have no problem with LIFE INSURANCE but don't force me into signing a policy FOR F*CK SAKE!
To end it, I still insisted on getting the FREE 25k insurance since I was made the impression of just "claiming" it. So thank you and f*ck you very much sir!

maam, if this is really not a scam, dont we have the right to cancel our transaction on that very same day that we signed their agreement? so their product is "NO RETURN NO EXCHANGE". I believe that we as their customers have the right to cancel our transaction with them if we are not satisfied with their product. consumer rights? right? isa pa po, philplans might have the license pero the way they sell it is wrong.. kelan pa naging pilitan ang pagbenta atty.? same thing happened to me last december, may makulit na tumatawag, may free insurance. pinapunta ako sa philplan baguio para claim yung free, may claiming code pa na binigay pagdating ko dun, hinahanap ang valid id at credit card ko.. kwento kwento kwento then iverify daw yung card if qualified.. pagbalik may charge slip na pinagpipirma ako.. sobrang pagmamadali ko, umoo na lang ako. after one hour, bumalik ako para magpacancel ng transactions. pero napasa na daw nila sa manila yung documents ko.. ONE HOUR lang yun ha.. so pinagawa ako ng cancelation letter, binigay ko the day after. Umasa ako na may positive result sa request ko. After 3 months, nareceive ko ang letter from philplan na disapproved ang request dahil daw nagsign ako sa agreement na form nila.. 3 months na nakalipas, wala pa din ako policy na natanggap. wala rin pinakitang terms and conditions.. nag file ako ng complaint sa dti and planning to go to SEC.. sa mga nagtry na mgafile ng complaint, please help me po. Gusto ko po sana humingi ng advice if may laban po tayo pag sakaling haharapin natin si philplan...

Kausapin nyo yung taong yun regarding sa REKLAMO nyo at kung feeling nyo talaga na niloko kayo ay file a CASE AGAINST them. Kasi kung niloko kayo, you really have the RIGHT para kasuhan sila. Guys, try nyo ding kausapin yung MANAGER of that Company and tell him/her all your concerns. Kung hindi man nila masagot mga katanungan nyo at kung hindi man nila kayo matulungan sa problema nyo at kung labang padin sa kalooban nyo, pumunta na kayo sa PAO or any Atty. na kilala nyo and ask for help. Guys, I'm just concern, kasi I have a plan na mag Philplan din kasi at chinecheck ko kung may mali ba sa Company na to pero bakit ganun, napaka detalyado naman ang explanation nila and I checked the background of that Company ay maganda naman at feeling ko assured ako. Guys, sa tingin ko it's not the Company ang may problem kundi yung mga TAOng KINAUSAP nyo.

I asked them frankly and fortunately sinagot din ako ng prangkahan. Ginawa ko yun for my assurance at para hindi din maloko. While talking with them may nalaman ako. First, hindi SCAM ang Philplan kundi malaking tulong sa mga tao. But the big deal here is, some agents ay pinipilit ang mga tao as Mr. Troy says. Dahil pano naman kung sakto lang yung kinikita ng tao for their family. Naiintindihan kita Mr. Troy dahil yung nangyari sayo ay very against your will but to tell you honestly, Philplans ay hindi bastabastang Company at assured ka dito. At nasabi mo din na "I agree with Jm Licayo..maganda nmn ung mga plans ng Philplans for a Pre-need Company". Second, hindi ulit SCAM ang Philplan. Para sa mga feeling ay naloko, try to to ask again kung ano ba talaga yung inaplayan nyong pre-need plan. I encourage you guys, this pre-need sa Philplan ay very helpful. LASTLY, nalaman ko na ma TELEMARKETING AND if hindi ako nagkakamali ay meron ding NON-TELEMARKETING. Guys, pumunta kayo sa non telemarketing and ask regarding their plans at baka matulungan din kayo. Especially sa mga may plan na mag apply sa Philplan. Isa pa guys, kung sakaling napunta man kayo sa mga tumawag sainyo ay hwag namang mag tiwala agad, kasi kung ako bat ko ibibigay ang CREDIT CARD ko na ni hindi ko naman kilala, ryt.? Interms of your maney, don't trust no one.!

Hi! I'm a victim din. Paniwala ako talaga. pinakita ko card ko tapos wala naman sila swinipe pero sa tingin ko tinignan nila mabuti front and back. Kaya paguwi ko nagsearch ako at ito nga kaya agad kong pinablock at cancel ang aking card. Hindi na sila makakagawa ng kahit anong transaction di ba? Yung certificate na sinasabi nila hindi na nila isesend yun? Sana nga hindi na!

Hindi naman nagreply yung friend ko till now, so i opted to search for them, and for this so called "free fully paid certificate for personal insurance accident" and eto nga. Thanks for posting this!

I just did not give in kasi that's not how we made payments to our other insurance companies such as Manulife, Sunlife of Canada and PhilAmPlans.. I guess marami lang agents na nagiging deceptive to get clients although hindi ko nilalahat dahil sa ibang transactions namin ok naman.. It's best to be constantly on guard and don't hand in any of your cards to other people lalo na at dadalin nila kung saan ung card nyo.. God Bless us all!

Burahinsir kung kilala mo si shiela agbay at si primotivo de leon..sila ung nanloloko sa philplans cubao..mga agent sila..pakilala ni sheila agbay na sya daw ung manager ng philplans..ganito set up nila..kung hndi napapayag ni primotivo aka bong, tatawagin nya si sheila gabay at magpapakilalang manager sya ng philplans at pipilitan ka nyang kumaha ng plans sa kanila.

I have the same call last year but it was from another insurance company related to a popular mall in the country. The difference was that they gave me an option to continue or not, and I took their offer. After a couple of weeks, I receive some documents legalizing the contract.

I nearly took the offer, but thinking I still have my existing insurance contract. The good thing is I am on Official Business here in Manila (I am from Baguio City) and I told them to visit them next week when I return back to Baguio.
Good thing also my iPad Mini was handy. Run some word combinations in Google and whala... they have a website. The site was promising.

hello! help nyu naman ako sa case ko ang ngyare kase is may free daw ako na 25K so ako naman without further research sa insurance company na toh eh nag go ako.. well too bad nga lang at kinuwentuhan pa ako ng kung anu anu.. so in short na swipe si credit card for the 1st month or 1st installment well whatever they'll call it.. d ko na inaasahan na marerefund ko pa yun.. ang inaalala ko lang is kung pwede di ko na ituloy yun na ituring ko na lang na isang masamang panaginip ang na swipe sken?? ayoko ng stress thats a nono...kanila na yung unang bayad o yung sinwipe sa card ko basta next month is wala na sanang mag pepeste sken at maibabawas sa CC ko!!! last month ko lang sya na encounter anyway... so thats my take on regards with this matter... thanks sooo much people...

TumugonBurahinsame thing..nagoyo din ako ng agents sa philplans na yan. Last Sep. 2013, nagpunta ako sa office nila sa fairview para i-avail ang EAB program nila. Inasikaso naman nila ako. habang nag-pifill-up ako ng applcation form, may lumapit sa king agent, convincing me to buy another policy. ang pagkakasabi nya one time payment daw yun, parang savings na ma-iinterest 5% annualy...ako naman, mejo naging intersado dun sa plan, sa pag-aakalang ONE TIME PAYMENT lang, nag-avail ako ng mas mababang halaga kesa dun sa naunang inalok nya. Hindi ini- explain nung ahente thoroughly yung plano, i even ask him kung meron ba syang ma-ooffer na installment, payable in certain period para hind gano mabigat..sabi nya dinidiscourage nya ako kumuha ng installment para daw hindi maglapsed pag ndi nbyran....In short, sa pag-aakalang one time payment lang yun, binayaran ko na, not reading ang mga docs na pina-pa sign nila kahit na pa yung OR na pinagbayaran ko.. Nung dumating yung policy sa bahay via LBC, dun ko lang nabasa ng husto na Payable in 5 yrs yung plan at yung binayad ko is good for one year lang.. Ang nakakainis kasi kung na explained lang mabuti nung agents yung policy di sana napag-isipan ko pa kung kukuha ako...Gusto kong ipa cancel kaso 20% nga lang daw nung binayaran ko ang makukuha ko, after a year pa. SINASADYA ATA NILANG HINDI EXPLAIN FURTHER ANG POLICY AT LITUHIN KA SA PAMAMAGITAN NG MABILISANG PAGPAPASIGN NG DOCS...para nga naman pag na-realize mo na huli na kasi nakapagbayad ka na...

Burahinkz ung capital nila na 700M ay 5 times pa ang laki kesa sa nakatalaga sa Batas.., I can assure you that the PLAN is good but that doesn't apply to all agents of the company.
Hello po :) Its good thing nagcheck ako sa net regarding Philplans. My tumawag din skin last monday.. My certificate daw na ibibgay skin. & ayun wala daw babayaran but then prior to that tinanong din ako ng mga ID's & Credit Card for verification purposes daw kung ako talaga yun.. ngayon ko lang naisip, is it not enough showing them Government ID's? Tpos nagtxt ngyon if mkakapunta na daw ba ako. Hanggang saturday lang daw yun if not ililipat na sa Main.. From Baguio kasi ako.. Anyways, im planning to visit their office here in Baguio. 1. Some agents has tactics to deceit clients.
2. Takes about 2 to 3 hours of your time.
3. It will test your Patient.
Things to do:
1. Read before doing some actions, all things and papers that they will
give you , read them carefully.
2. If you have really a plan for your insurance, well ask all of your questions
and asked their difference to other insurance.
3. If you're target is just to get the insurance then Strongly say NO,
then you will get you're free insurance "Good for your! and Bad for them :)>"
Well before you go to the said appointment, ask yourself what are you're Goals,
do you want to learn how to plan you future? do you just want the free insurance?
Well if yes go for it, If NO just "LET IT GO"! because if you go there and you are not prepared well there's a possibility you will be buy because of the sales talk.
My message to the agents please make sure that you're client understand what he/she will signed and literally tell them they will be charge on the spot if they will avail the Insurance or signed the waiver.
Well the bad part on our part as clients, we don't want to spend money that we don't see(tangible) because you may think that in future the insurance is closed or were to young for it, well as Ive said it your chance to be educated about insurance and learn the differences other insurance.
For Philplans I hope you can have a Official website or Open Forum for you're clients concerns so that they will be directly answered by you're official agents or employees.

After ko mag pa renew ng license pag akyat ng escalator may lumapit sakin meron daw akong nakuwang FREE. ayaw sabihin kung anu hanggang sa dinala ako sa branch nila mismo sa Galleria.
Wala daw akong babayaran etc. etc... 3 times pa ako nagtanong kung may bayad ba kako. sabi is wala daw tapos natatawa pa sya dahil sinabi na nga daw nyang WALA. Kung anu anong pambobola nadidinig ko sa kanya.
To make it short. 1 hour kami nagusap in the end dami nya pina pirmahan sakin ade pinirmahan ko naman. tinanong ako kung may credit card ako sabi ko meron pero ayoko kako gamitin. Ayun kinausap yung parang boss nya ata nag explain sakin na mas maganda daw credit card. pero hindi pa din ako pumayag hehe. Dami nila tinanong halatang mga mukang pera. Gusto malaman lahat laman ng ATM, credit limit etc.
Ok lang daw ATM na lang daw gamitin ko. ade sige kako. NAGTANONG ULIT AKO kung may babayaran ba, SAGOT nya ay WALA DAW natatawa na naman. Pero gusto nya kuhain yung ATM ko para I-photocopy and yung drivers license ko for VERIFICATION EKEK daw. sabi ko baka pwede bang ID ko na lang wag na yung ATM.
Hindi daw pwede. tapos may pinapapirmahan na naman na bago hindi ni explain kugn ano. So nagtanong ako sabi ko "baka mag funds transfer yung account ko pag pinirmahan ko yan" sabi nya OO DAW. Dun na naginit ulo ko. Sabi ko "Sabi mo wala akong babayaran. tapos kukuhaan mo ng laman yung account ko pag pinirmahan ko yan:" sabay WALKOUT ako haha. nasayang ang isang oras ko sa walang kwentang pakikipagusap at pambobola nya sa akin.
base sa mga nabasa ko dito kaya pala mas preferred nila ng credit card ay para iswipe lang nila agad. pag ATM kasi madami pang ekek na need pirmahan.

BTW yung Roselyn na panget yung nakausap ko. MANLOLOKO. FREE PALA PERO GUSTO MO BAWASAN LAMAN NG ATM KO!! SIRA ULO!
Same thing here, last week may tumawag sa akin nagpakilalang Ms. Venus Ayala of Philplans Makati, telling me na isa ako sa napili ng company na bigyan ng free accident insurance. Gusto daw ng Philplans ippakita na financially stable sila kaya mamimigay sila ng free insurance, Philplans na daw ang new name ng Philam Life under new management, I'm not sure kong totoo.

The product and company is legit, only the strategy on how they sell the product is really bad. Last year I was traumatized about the incident because my husband was so mad that I made the decision without his consent. My credit card was swiped and there goes my P32,064.00. Confused and depressed I tried to talk to the agent but he insisted it was wise to cancel the plan after a year and get the 20% of the contract plan; verified with their hotline and they said the same; checked with the bank and I was advised to make a letter of dispute ; seeked the help of the bank manager to talk to the agent; checked out Insurance Commission but all these things didn’t work out. Every time a call center agent calls regarding their product I just continue to voice out my anger regarding the particular sales agent and what happened to me. My policy had its anniversary (March 2014), and thought of cancelling my plan. I found out I have to pay a processing fee and bring the policy to Makati etc. With the traffic in Makati , time and money to spend on gas and processing fee, it was so impractical. Decided to wait for the plan to lapse instead. April of this year came, Ms. MeAnn Carreon of Customer Service called regarding my concern. A call center agent relayed my complaint to her. Told her my story , even told them to check-out the blog “Mag-ingat sa Philplans”. She requested I send my concerns thru her e-mail , which I did after a week. July 18, 2014 I received a letter of Approval of Cancellation Request with an attached Plan Transaction Details Form. I sent the required documents via LBC ( original copies of the following: policy contract, official receipt, charge/sales slip of credit card -even if it was faded and unreadable, attached the bank billing statement reflecting the amount that was charged to me). I was informed that a check will be refunded to me which I can get in their office. But then after I think a week, I was told it will be charged back to ny Bpi credit card since I paid thru my credit card it . Philplans sent a letter which I will show to the bank regarding the chargeback . I was also informed that there will be processing charges. Forwarded the said letter to the bank. After 2-4 weeks , finally it was in my billing statement. What a relief, thank God! The original amount I paid for the plan was P32,064.00. The chargeback amount in my billing statement was - P31,764.00. Today, I emailed Ms. Carreon and the department to thank her and to follow-up on the my other complaints. I hope this letter will help those people who were victimized. We should put an end to these modus operandi of the agents and the company to correct their policy on cancellation of contract ( because some insurance companies allows cancellation just before the 15 days grace period even after you have paid and signed contract). MS. BIANCA MENDOZA, contacted me and telling that I won a 25K accident insurance (siyempre happy ako ng malaman ko ito!) and I need to go to there office which is located in ALIMALL CUBAO, she explained to me everything about the insurance and asking if I have a bank account or credit card (salamat kasi di pa ako nag aaply :) ). I was doubtful at first because I don't know how they contacted me or how they got my number, so sabi ko baka my nag refer lang din s akin.Then she asked me to bring with me my ATM card kasi un lang din meron ako, my goverment ID or my company ID.But she already warned me na huwag ko ibibigay ito sa kanila. After that she sent me a MV control number and asking me to go at there office and look for MR. MANDY ABARUA / MS. ARLENE MARA.
AT ALI MALL CUBAO PHILPLANS OFFICE.
When I enter at there office I was accompanied by their receptionist to a room and ask for my ID for verification so binigay ko naman nga. After a minute my lumapit na sa akin na agent at sinabi na wala daw c MR. ABARUA / MS. MARA. So iba nlng yung kumausap sa akin (I forgot the name) at my binigay n papel na kailangan ko daw fill up the information needed para makuha ko yung insurance ko. At first I read everything bago ko sulatan ito, so background details ko nga lnag talaga yung kailangan. Salamat at during that time my iniisip din ako kaya di ko binaling yung attention ko s agent na nag explain sa akin. Pumasok na talaga sa isip ko baka scam nga to so sinabayan ko na muna yung trip ng kausap ko explaining everything (alam mo yung pag explain na parang networking na ma eengganyo ka tlga. hahaha) so nag uusap kmi biglang tumawag officemate ko kasi my problema nga sa office so nabaling nanaman yung attention ko sa kanya. After that gusto niya makita ATM card ko, so nilabas ko naman at pinakita sa kanya at tinanong kung ilan yung laman, buti at di pa naman ganun kadami laman ng ATM ko kasi kaka open ko pa lang nun last two weeks.
After she explained everything, tinanong ko siya so kailangan ko na bang bayaran yang inoofer mo sa akin? tapos sabi ko sa kanya akala ko ba pumunta lang ako dito para kunin yung certificate na sinasabi niyo. Then sabi niya "Yes sir, pero optional lang tong offer namin sa inyo." (SCAM nga tlaga teh!) then sabi pa niya kailangan ko daw i grab na yun kasi nga minsan lang daw yun na offer nila at mag hihintay ka daw uli ng promo so sabi ko kukunin ko nalang yung certificate na sinasabi niyo next time na lang ako mag aaply jan sa offer niyo.After that tinanong niya ako kng antayin ko na lang ba yung certificate ko or send na lang nila thru email sabi ko sa kanya antayin ko nalang kasi andito din naman ako, so after a minute may binigay na nga sila na certificate. Then sabi ko balik na lang ako bukas just in case na magustuhan ko offer niyo (good luck kung babalik pa ako. haha)

Dapat talaga mag-ingat sa mga scam na yan. I'm a Former OJT agent in PhilPlans, Fairview branch. Yung binibigay naming 25k is a certificate for accident insurance only. Kami yung mga tumatawag sa mga pwedeng maka-avail nung certificate. Binibigay po namin yung certificate once na magpresent ng 2valid I'D's and yung code na kami din yung nagbibigay which is for confirmation na siya yung taong natawagan namin . Yung supervisor namin yung nag-assist sa mga magke-claim and hindi sila humihingi ng credit card I assure you guys dahil witness kami habang pinaprocess yung certificate. Maaaring may mga agent lang talaga na nangloloko para sa pansarili nilang motibo.

Unang tumawag certain Venus at nagsasabing matagal na daw due yung free policy ko pag hindi ko makuha today ay sa main branch in Makati na kukunin. Then after nung tawag a certain Maricar called up na sya daw ang hanapin ko as per instruction ni Ms Venus. Same modus. Need ng valid ids and any bank id i.e credit card or my check book. 09336103451 at 09088194219 yung ginagamit na number to contact yung prospective victims.

Philplas is a legitimate company na nagagamit sa mga scam. Now para dun sa mga gustong malaman ang totoo na nanalo ka pero wala ka namang sinalihan e it's a big faul, hindi na kasalanan ng philplans kung maniniwala ka. Now kung gusto mo malaman ang mga products ng philplans feel free to go at Hemady branch and inquire kayo personally in case meron mang tumatawag sa inyo using philplans name. Huwag basta basta maniwala, huwag mahiyang magtanong sa Philplans mismo at hindi kung kani-kanino lang. Thanks.

Nung pauwi na sya bigla syang natauhan at nagsisi at ibinigay nya yung card nya.Pagkauwi nya ipina-cancel nya agad yung card nya. She was advise na irereplace yung card nya with a new one. she inform the bank na na scam sya. Her only problem is na charge pa rin sya ng Philplans. Pumayag yung sister ko na pumunta thinking na it's free. Imagine kahit na sinabi nyang unemployed sya pinilit pa rin sya. Napaka gullible pa nman ng sister ko and suffering mental health issue at di pa totally magaling. Nagulat lang ako kasi she didn't advise me na may ganung offer, at sinekreto nya sa amin. kasi ako when I am interested in something or may nag offe ginu-google ko muna for reviews.Pag nag write kya sya ng letter of dispute, may possibility pa kya na maayos yun. yung di na rin sya sisingilin ng bank. I am not against sa Insurance kasi I myself have one pero di nga lng kay Philplans.Ayoko kasi nung nag offer sa mga malls or yung mga tumatawag , ayoko ng mga taong very persuasive magbenta at kelangan pa magbigay ng mga misinformation or na mimis-sold ung products ng company.

Just today may tumawag sa amin, from philplan daw sya at hinahanap ang husband ko. Nanalo daw sya ng free accidents insurance from philplan. Tinanong ung work nya at kung may credit card. Sbi ng hisband ko wla, kya tinanong kung may account sa banko. Sbi ng husband meron from top bank. Pinapagvisit sya sa angeles nepo branch to collect the certificate. Same thing happend to me last 2 years ago its the same thing from philplan. May nafill up akong form from a raffle ticket from philplan. Tpos the following day tumawag na sila to confirm that I won a insurance. To claim kailangan may credit card ako khit sa relative pwede basta active pa, hnd ako pumunta kc iba ang pkiramdam ko about it. Buti nlang hnd ako pumunta bka isa nko sa mga may problema sa credit card ngyn. sa mga tumatawag sa inyo na nanalo kayo huwag kayo agad maniniwala. I'm a Philplans agent at walang ganung klase na ipinapaalam sa amin ang aming agensy dito sa hemady. Philplas is a legitimate company na nagagamit sa mga scam. Now para dun sa mga gustong malaman ang totoo na nanalo ka pero wala ka namang sinalihan e it's a big faul, hindi na kasalanan ng philplans kung maniniwala ka. Now kung gusto mo malaman ang mga products ng philplans feel free to go at Hemady branch and inquire kayo personally in case meron mang tumatawag sa inyo using philplans name. Huwag basta basta maniwala, huwag mahiyang magtanong sa Philplans mismo at hindi kung kani-kanino lang. Thanks.

Pagdating ko raw doon, kakausapin ako ni Mr. DERALD DELGADO (Branch Manager) para sabihin ang details ng insurance. Magdala lang daw ako ng 2 valid I.D.s at credit card. Dito na ako nagtaka. Bakit ko need ng credit card kung for claiming lang? Issend daw niya ng address ng branch. Cge na lang ang sagot ko sa kanya.
